You can vote for the finalists in the 2006 Bloggies. I’m familiar with a few of the finalists, but not many. None do I read on a regular basis. But, of course, I am intrigued by the competition. Unfortunately they don’t have a “Best Former Debutante Turned Hippie Mommy Blog” category.

Environmentalist, yes. But not a hippie…maybe I’ve been hanging out with too many Dead Heads…
I cast my few and limited votes. I’m a loyal reader of Waiter Rant, that’s the only one I always read. Although I’ve checked out Overheard in New York a few times. It’s pretty good too.
I voted, as a loyal fan. This is the only blog I read, so I voted for you in every category! I can’t believe you didn’t win.
Well, if they did have that category you wouldn’t have to be nominated. You would just be declared the winner by acclamation for your hipness.

Us hippies defy categorization I suppose.
It all depends on who you ask. In the south where I grew up, the word hippie was hurled as an insult at anyone different.
