How to ride a wave

…the boy could’ve spent all day in the surf. He got bashed again and again and went back for more. I love that about guys.

Great pic! Welcome back, EM. Looking for some Edge from my favorite mama. Gotta live vicariously through someone!

    Edgy Mama,

Just saw your comment on the Mountain XPress blogroll, and I’ve got to say… I feel the love.

You tell that 8-year old daughter of yours to keep reading, and I’ll throw her a shoutout. What’s her name? Come out to many Tourists games? If so, come find me in the pressbox and I can ask the team to let her race Ted E Tourist around the bases.

Nice action shot. Yep, we guys like a good beating.

Thanks, Jason! We come to every Sunday home game. Night games are usually too late for someone’s bedtime, although we might come to E. Asheville Little League night! I might come see you at work sometime, too. Did you realize that I’m one of your hot AC-T freelancers?

Well I’m a big fan of hot interns. They rank right up there with hot interns. Hell, hot people in general are ok by me. I think Ashevegas and I share that in common.

I just met your husband and daughter. She’s adorable, and I’m glad to hear she’s learning how to score. She’ll take my job one day, I just know it. Ciao.

Uh, that first hot interns reference should read “hot freelancer.” My mistake. This act of careless blogging won’t happen again. Much. On days that end in Y.

    Jason,

Thanks! My girl just called me and said she’s ready to race the pants off of Ted E. She’s bummed she forgot her running shoes, but she says she can do it just fine with her Crocs. You rock!

Yes, she would love your job one day. She’s a sports fanatic and a good writer!

I haven’t been a hot intern in many years, unfortunately. I’ll pop by some afternoon if I’m in your work vicinity.

    Thanks again!
