I put together a Flickr slideshow of my top photos of 2008. Note that I’ve been lazy about uploading to Flickr, and I have about 5,000 photos from the year clogging up my computer. One day I’ll organize them all (and throw most of them out). Here’s some of my favorite shots from this year. Enjoy!

primates and seal lions always get me hot; the edgy children are quite lovely, too. AF, re the column advance- you are so cute. so young. so brave. Rich was on television-Fox News, arghh- last night and I was reminded of how much I hated the times I ended up in public videos for some professional reason or other. But yours is nice. Go for it. You’ll have to find the balance between spontaneity and being concise- that seems like the biggest challenge in this one- but I really like watching it live and it definitely makes me want to read the rest of the column online. And hey! Happy New Year!
