Yes, on my second tasting, I was picking up vanilla and a bit of caramel in the Cold Mountain–kind of a burnt sugar aftertaste. Love it!

I had some of the Christmas Jam White and Cold Mtn. Winter ales on Saturday. The Christmas Jam White Ale was okay, but I *loved* this year’s Cold Mtn. Winter Ale. Lovely vanilla flavor this time around.

Damn! It looks like I need to make up a reason to come visit to try some of those beers! They sound yummy. I still can’t get over that Pigsmah (I know I spelled it wrong!) Red Devil – I crave it now!
