Here’s the first installment in The Rocky Project:
While Rocky wouldn’t win the annual fattest cat in American title (there actually is such a contest), he’s so big that our vet likes to take him in the back to show off his hugeness.
Proof that diets suck. Even for felines.

No way – my kitty is on a diet too! But yours outweighs mine. She is 17 pounds. Our vet put her on a diet that includes pumpkin and wet food, pumpkin is a filler, I thought there was no way my Jessica was going to eat it, but she does. Try it out!
Awww, poor kitty. But he will feel so much better when he can fit into his skinny pants again.
Hang in there Rocky, I’m pullin’ for ya. Good luck with the diet.
I’ve got one of those, dingleberries and impending diabetes and all! Can’t wait to see how you put the fat one on a diet without starving the skinny kitty in the process….
Chuck, I put the skinny cat’s food up on a shelf where he can easily jump, but the fat cat can’t!
Ah! Unfortunately my chickenbone scrawny cat is about 16 yrs old so the tubby tabby can still jump higher. She has been warned that her diet starts as soon as he kicks the bucket, though.
